Hello.

This account may or may not be updated often. Most of my personal blogging is done on LiveJournal, where it's in private, away from those who don't need to know. Mainly this, like several other accounts I've made over the past year or so, is to keep up with other people. I'm already following three blogs on Blogger so I may as well make my own, right?

Quickly, because bullets are fun:

• My name is Stacy. You can call me Stacy. Or therealycats, but Stacy is shorter. If you're here, you probably know me already, so you can disregard the rest of this.
• I have two cats, Circe and Viaka.
• I read a lot, although lately not as much as I should.
• Favorite books include Wuthering Heights, Deerskin, The Vampire Chronicles, Sandman, Witches Abroad, and plays by my good friend Billy Shakes, to name a few. I really enjoy fairy tale retellings. If you do too and you haven't checked it out yet, you should go to http://surlalunefairytales.com, because it's awesome, and I've been stalking it since I was a sophomore in college. And you should also check out the comic series Fables. I also enjoy Oscar Wilde, Christopher Moore, Mark Twain, Anne Sexton, Truman Capote, and Blake, Byron, and Shelley.
• Current television obsessions include Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, The Borgias, Fringe, Torchwood, Mad Men, and Being Human. Past TV obsessions are numerous.
• When I'm very, very patient with myself, which isn't often these days, I can draw well.
• I'm obsessed with Classical Greece and Rome. I've been to Italy; I have not been to Greece. If you would like to fund a trip for me, please feel free. I will be forever in your debt!
